Monique's Kindergarten

From the publisher: "Monique's Kindergarten is a homage to childhood and a paean to the imaginative potential of children's play. Michael Kenna came to know the Waldorf kindergarten first as a parent, then as an artist who recognized in the stuff of the place an emblematic presentation of the spirit of childhood. In Kenna's photographs, one senses the re-experiencing of early childhood as a world in which fantasy and reality meet as equals in the chamber of the imagination. Introduction by John Bloom, interview with Monique Grund."
